Funding and Project Development Strategies for Energy Improvement

Description

Recorded on March 22, 2017

Duration: 55 minutes

The Environmental Sustainability Resource Center (ESRC) provided this session for technical assistance providers (TAPs).

The webinar is designed to inform EPA grantees of funding mechanisms that can help end users turn energy assessments into projects.

This webinar will provide for an increased awareness about the community development approach to energy-related technical assistance and financing by two certified Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), incentive programs and lessons learned from a utility/government program administrator with a successful track record of project conversion.

A business that has received assistance/funding also shares about the experience with going through the process, and decision points evaluated to move forward with an energy improvement project.

After viewing this webinar, technical assistance providers should be able to identify resources for affordable/flexible funding in their service area and employ strategies for post-assessment engagement with recipients.
