2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET

Program

Learn how the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) online Target Finder tool can help you set a building’s energy use intensity target (Btu/sf) corresponding to superior energy performance. Use Target Finder to set an energy use intensity target at the beginning of a project or at the conclusion of a project to determine if your design earns your firm EPA recognition and meets AIA carbon reduction goals. Target Finder also provides energy cost data and a CO2-equivalent emissions value.

The EPA energy performance scale is supported by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, AIA, ASHRAE, USGBC, Architecture 2030 and many state and local governments.
